REGISTRATION

How do I register to participate?

First, click register on the home page of the event. If you have participated in any Kennedy Krieger event in the past, you are considered a Returning User.  If you do not remember your username and password, please click email me my login information. Then, simply enter your information and review.  Need some more guidance on registering? Click here!

Does everyone need to register to participate?

Yes!  Everyone, regardless of age, that is planning to walk run or participate in our virtual events must register. Adults should register all children online, as they will need to sign their participation and photo waiver during the registration process. Make sure to register all family members so that we can share your photos all event week long!

How can I register my whole family to participate?

When registering, on the 3rd Review step of your registration you will want to click Register Additional Participant. Once you click Complete Registration you cannot use that same email to register any other participants, so make sure to click Register Additional Participant until you have registered your whole family!

Should I register ahead of time?

Yes!  Only registrants who register before April 12th will be guarunted a shirt and swag bag.  Also this year, we will again be offering fun incentives you can earn by fundraising.  The sooner you register, the sooner you can start fundraising and start earning fun fundraising incentives; raise $100, $250, $500, or $1,000 and earn incentives along the way!

Does every participant recieve a t-shirt?

No, only our race participants or virtual race participants will automatically recieve a shirt.  Those who sign up for the family festival or as a spectator will have the option to purchase a t-shirt at an additional cost.

Are vaccinations required to ROAR in person?

No, however masking will be required as of February, 2022All COVID-19 protocols are subject to change, check back here for more information.  Once registered, any protocol changes will be communicated via email.

When is Packet Pick-Up?

Packet Pick-up will be on Friday, April 29th from 3:00-6:00PM at Charm City Run in Timonium (2045 York Rd, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093).

 

I am a virtual participant, do I need to attend Packet Pick-Up?

No! Virtual participants will be sent their race packets following the event.

 

 

EVENT DAY

What time does the event start?

Registration will open at 6:30AM, while the races and Family Festival will kick off at 8:00AM.

How do I get to the event site?

The event is held at the Oregon Ridge Playground area, 13401 Beaver Dam Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030.

If turning on to Beaver Dam Rd from Shawan Rd, you will immediately see Oregon Grille on your right, there may be signage for Oregon Ridge Park, but continue on down Beaver Dam Rd.  You will not enter at this first entrance by Oregon Grille, you will continue on down Beaver Dam Rd to the next entrance with the brown sign that notes "Lodge Meeting Rooms Picnic Dinner Theater".

If turning on to Beaver Dam Rd from McCormick Rd, you will drive down until you see the brown sign that notes "Lodge Meeting Rooms Picnic Dinner Theater" on your left, this will be where you enter.  Along the road, there will also be signage pointing you in the correct direction.
